The main activities at the Festival include: the opening art program, the Folk Art Festival, traditional ethnic costume performances, performances and presentations of excerpts from local festivals and cultural rituals, exhibitions promoting and introducing local traditional culture, displays and presentations of traditional ethnic cuisine, sports activities, and ethnic folk games, the photo exhibition "Ethnic Minorities of Vietnam Accompanying the Nation's Development," and the exhibition "Cultural Colors of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups." These activities aim to honor the beautiful traditional cultural values, preserve and promote the cultural identities of Vietnam’s ethnic minorities within the unified yet diverse culture of the 54 ethnic groups. At the same time, they contribute to building and developing Vietnamese culture and people in line with the requirements for the nation's sustainable development, as outlined in Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the 11th Central Party Committee and Conclusion No. 76-KL/TW of the Politburo.
The event not only helps raise awareness and responsibility among all levels of government, sectors, and the general public in preserving and promoting ethnic cultural identities, but also provides an opportunity for artisans, performers, athletes, and minority communities to meet, exchange, and share experiences in preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities in the new era - the era of national growth. It is also an opportunity to promote the unique culture of Vietnam’s ethnic minorities in general and Quang Tri in particular, fostering greater understanding and recognition of the distinctive cultural identities of each region. This will position Vietnam as a notable cultural destination on the global map with its unique features.

The Organizing Committee hopes to receive the attention and support of central and local media agencies, press agencies of the province, and journalists from press agencies stationed in Quang Tri for information dissemination and publicity about the festival’s activities. The Organizing Committee extends an invitation to KOLs, KOCs, and social media content creators (on platforms such as websites, Facebook fanpages, Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) to join in spreading the event’s information and sharing the beautiful cultural heritage of Vietnam's ethnic groups.
