WWF-Viet Nam is one of the leading international conservation organizations operating in the country. The organization provides technical advice and support to the government and partners in addressing national development challenges, with the long-term goal of preventing environmental degradation and building a future where people live in harmony with nature.
It is expected that in 2026, with the support and sponsorship of WWF-Viet Nam, IPA Quảng Trị will propose the organization of the Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Green Investment Promotion and Sustainable Development. The forum aims to establish an annual dialogue platform connecting government agencies, financial institutions, businesses, cooperatives, and other stakeholders. Through this platform, the province seeks to promote green investment flows and encourage sustainable agriculture and forestry models, in line with Quảng Trị’s orientation toward green growth and sustainable development.

During the meeting, Mr. Nguyễn Đức Tân, Director of IPA Quảng Trị, emphasized that with the technical expertise and resources from WWF-Viet Nam, the forum is expected to bring practical benefits to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and cooperatives in the province. In particular, it will support them in accessing green financial instruments and funding packages, thereby enhancing their capacity for sustainable production and business development.
At the session, Mr. Nguyễn Nhật An, Project Director and Central Annamites Landscape Coordinator at WWF-Viet Nam, shared that the 2026 forum will focus strongly on green finance, addressing the topic from policy frameworks to practical implementation, and from macro-level strategies to micro-level business solutions. The forum will also aim to clarify and resolve challenges faced by businesses in accessing green finance.

At the end of the meeting, IPA Quảng Trị and the WWF-Viet Nam delegation reached initial agreement on several key priorities for preparing the forum in the coming period. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to close coordination to ensure the successful organization of the event, contributing to attracting green investment and promoting sustainable development in Quảng Trị Province in the new development phase.
