At the working session, Ms. Vo Thi Tuan Anh, Head of Surbana Jurong Consulting - Sakae Consulting (Singapore) expressed interest in the development of Quang Tri and wished to support Quang Tri in strategic development planning. According to Ms. Vo Thi Tuan Anh, Surbana Jurong is Singapore's largest and oldest design consulting group, ranked 35 out of 225 design firms in the world and now the joint venture has also deployed support for planning planning for a number of localities, including Da Nang and Quang Ninh, planning for many projects in Vietnam.
The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Le Quang Tung welcomed the joint venture's initiative in proposing to assist Quang Tri in formulating a strategic development plan. He also expressed the needs of the Province in finding an experienced and capable consultant to assist the province in building a development strategy with a long-term vision, taking advantage of opportunities and potential in order to create a breakthrough for the Province's socio-economic development. Leaders of Quang Tri also informed that the Quang Tri Industrial Park project invested by VSIP-Amata-Sumitomo Joint Venture also included investment capital from Singapore and wanted the joint venture to support the Province in promoting international investment projects on the basis of provincial strategic planning./.
