People's Committee of Quang Tri Province works with VSIP in Binh Duong province

On the morning of March 15, 2021, the delegation of Quang Tri province led by Mr. Vo Van Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri Province (Quang Tri PPC), along with representatives of leaders of relevant departments, agencies of the Province visited Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park Co., Ltd (VSIP) in Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province.
At the meeting, VSIP leaders showed the strong commitment of VSIP-Amata-Sumitomo joint venture in implementing the Quang Tri Industrial Park project with a total scale of 497 ha in Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province. The VSIP leaders also introduced the history, development process of VSIP, VSIP projects across the country as well as exchanged some contents related to progress, project implementation coordination in Quang Tri.

The Chairman of Quang Tri PPC Vo Van Hung highly appreciated VSIP's efforts in coordinating with relevant departments, branches and localities in the implementation of the Quang Tri Industrial Park project, introducing the pillars of development in industry, agriculture and tourism and services that Quang Tri is focusing on promoting in the term 2021-2025 and the following years according to the orientation of the 17th Provincial Party Congress. Mr. Vo Van Hung also informed a number of dynamic projects, connecting in infrastructure, transportation, logistics ... serving the strategy of calling for investors of the VSIP-Amata – Sumitomo Joint Venture.

On this occasion, the Chairman promised to promote legal procedures to complete the project in the shortest time and create a favorable mechanism and environment for investors to deploy the project soon in the Province. Mr. Hung also directly assigned the departments and branches to urgently coordinate in handling a number of proposals and recommendations of investors.

In addition, during the working period in Ho Chi Minh City, in 2 days from March 14-15, 2021, the delegations also contacted and worked with a number of businesses and potential investors to attract , calling for investment in Quang Tri.
