In 2021, Eni Vietnam and its partner Essar (India) are in the process of drilling the third well to carry out the overall evaluation of the Ken Bau field, as a basis for the plan to supply natural gas and develop energy projects. quantity in Vietnam.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung exchanged information about the work that Quang Tri province has been implementing to serve the development of Quang Tri province to strive to become an energy center which has new projects of the central region on the basis of renewable energy power projects, electricity and gas pipeline planning, information on major policies of the Government in supporting the socio-economic development of Quang Tri province.
