On April 25, 2022, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam signed and promulgated Official Dispatch No. 381/CD-TTg on ensuring security and safety in tourism activities on the occasion of the holiday from April 30 to January 1. May 2022.

According to the document, in order to ensure security and safety, improve the quality of services to serve tourists, especially during the holiday season from April 30 to May 1, speeding up the speed of tourism recovery, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said: The Government requires agencies and units, based on their assigned functions, tasks and powers, to focus on directing the consistent, synchronous and effective implementation of measures to ensure social security, order and safety. society, environmental sanitation, food safety…; improve the quality of tourism services. In particular, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism strengthens propaganda and raises the awareness of businesses, business households and tourists in ensuring regulations on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control, environmental hygiene schools, food safety... at tourist sites and spots. In addition, directing localities to strengthen inspection and ensure safety in tourism activities; supervise and strictly handle violations of organizations and individuals in the observance of the law on tourism business, environmental protection and food safety; improve the quality and professionalism in serving tourists. At the same time, continue to propagate and promote the destination, accelerate the implementation of the plan to reopen tourism to ensure safety and efficiency, in accordance with the regulations on prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.

In addition, the Chairman of the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities should strengthen the comprehensive state management of tourism in the area, implement solutions to remove difficulties, and effectively direct the travel agencies, management of tourist zones, attractions and tourist business establishments strictly comply with regulations on hygiene, environment and food safety. Strengthen inspection, supervision, resolutely handle violations in ensuring hygiene, environment and food safety. In addition, require tourism business units to inspect and review the quality of technical facilities and services; promptly inspect, detect, prevent and strictly handle acts that cause unsafety to tourists. Promote the propaganda of tourism civilized behavior in tourist areas and spots. Ensure that visitor support centers and hotlines operate effectively, promptly provide information and resolve tourists' complaints in the area.
