Implementing the Provincial Tourism Promotion Program in 2022, Quang Tri Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Agency in collaboration with Huong Hoa District People's Committee organized a training course on capacity building to develop tourism models. communities in Quang Tri province in 2022.

Attending the opening of the training course were Mr. Ho Van Hoan, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Pham Trong Ho, Vice Chairman of Huong Hoa District People's Committee, Mr. Tran Phi Tuong, Deputy Director of Quang Tri IPA, along with lecturers and more than 50 students from enterprises, cooperatives, business households, residential communities doing business, exploiting community tourism services, attractions in Huong Hoa and districts, towns and cities in the province.
 

The training course was organized with the goal of developing local human resources, promoting the development of community-based tourism and eco-tourism, contributing to diversifying the province's general tourism products, improving tourism service quality, increase the number of visitors and length of stay. Equip some basic knowledge about community tourism activities; manage and develop local tourism service business, tourist accommodation service at homestay; improve the role of local tour guides, step by step improve service quality, destination image, and visitor satisfaction.
 

During 2 days, October 25 - 26, 2022, the learners were equipped with basic knowledge about community tourism through thematic topics Understanding community tourism and the important factors affecting it to the success of a community tourism destination; Proper understanding of marketing, the role, the combined strategies required in the service business; The importance of market segmentation and target market selection in service business; Customer behavior and changes to note after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Through the training course, it has created opportunities to raise awareness and understanding for trainees who are active in the field of community-based tourism to build brand, promote image, local culture and improve quality, providing services, attracting international and domestic tourists to visit, stay and relax.
