On the morning of September 6, 2023, at the WTC Expo Exhibition Center in Binh Duong province, the opening ceremony of the Supply and Demand Connection Conference and the Southeast Region Industry and Trade Fair 2023 took place.
Attending the opening ceremony were Director of the Trade Promotion Department Vu Ba Phu, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Danh and representatives of leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade, Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Agency/Trade Promotion Agency of provinces/cities, domestic and international businesses. The Conference on Connecting Supply and Demand of Goods and the Industry and Trade Fair of the Southeast Region - Binh Duong 2023 is an event under the National Program on trade promotion, held from September 5 - 10, 2023, to promote trade promotion activities and trade connections of provinces and cities in the Southeast region in particular and the whole country in general. Thereby, creating conditions for businesses to have opportunities to meet, exchange, cooperate, access and seek output for domestic and international markets. According to the Organizing Committee, the 2023 Southeast - Binh Duong Industry and Trade Fair has a scale of more than 350 standard booths of more than 120 businesses, displaying OCOP products, regional and typical products of the provinces, cities such as Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh city, Quang Tri, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Binh Thuan, Quang Nam, Phu Yen, Dak Nong, Nghe An, Long An, Tra Vinh and industry associations,etc.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the Department of Trade Promotion Vu Ba Phu said: The Conference to connect supply and demand and the Industry and Trade Fair of the Southeast region in 2023 is an opportunity for businesses to exchange, connect and look for trade promotion opportunities. Enhance opportunities to link investment, production and business and develop trade between localities and businesses in the Southeast region with domestic and international provinces/cities. Participating in the Fair, Quang Tri province had 4 booths, displaying and promoting products produced from raw materials that are the province's main cultivated plants and animals such as medicinal herbs of Ngoc BichNatural Medicinal Herbs Co., Ltd., natural essential oils of Huyen Thoai Natural Essential Oil Co., Ltd., Bao Ngoc Melaleuca Essential Oil Co., Ltd., Quang Tri Organic Agriculture Company; Khe Sanh coffee products,etc. In addition, the booth also displays and promotes publications on trade, tourism, and a list of priority projects calling for investment in the province to advertise and promote investment, trade and tourism. During September 6-10, events will take place such as: Binh Duong Province Goods Supply and Demand Connection Program in 2023; Program to connect sellers and e-commerce platforms in 2023; Supply chain conference connecting businesses; Solution to connect supply and demand on digital technology platform.
