Thanks to the focus on innovating operating methods towards meeting the needs and providing real support to businesses, since the beginning of the year, the Quang Tri Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Agency (IPA Quang Tri) has organized many programs and activities to help businesses expand domestic and foreign markets, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the locality.

2024 is an important year, a year of acceleration to complete the goals of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the 5-year Plan 2021-2025. In addition to basic advantages, the difficulties and limitations of the economy are barriers to development, requiring all levels and sectors to act more decisively and effectively, further promote the creativity and efforts of the business community and people, creating stronger and more solid development in the coming time.
Determining that spirit, IPA Quang Tri has focused on connecting large investors and leading corporations in industries and fields to introduce and call for investment in key projects. At the same time, promote trade and investment promotion activities through digital platforms, online environments, as well as apply information technology and e-commerce to communicate, promote and introduce investment and business opportunities to increase investment cooperation opportunities and help businesses boost product consumption.
In the field of investment promotion, the leaders of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with T&T Group and SK E&S Company on cooperation in investment, trade, energy conversion and green growth; and a Memorandum of Understanding with SK Group on cooperation in developing energy solutions in Quang Tri province. These are important memorandums of understanding, contributing to helping Quang Tri province strive and aim to become the energy center of the Central region in the coming time.
On the other hand, IPA Quang Tri has built the content, program, connection and successfully organized the Quang Tri province investment promotion program in Korea. Through the working trip, a new and good development stage has been opened for the partnership and development cooperation between Quang Tri province and Korean agencies, organizations and enterprises.
In the first months of 2024, IPA Quang Tri completed the program content and successfully organized the Workshop on Lao Bao - Densavan Cross-Border Economic Zone: From Idea to Reality; participated in organizing the exhibition booth, introducing Quang Tri province at the booth "Investment in Vietnam Industrial Development" within the framework of Vietnam Expo 2024.
At the same time, call on 2 investors in industrial park infrastructure business in the province to participate in the coordination organization, including: Quang Tri Development Joint Venture Company Limited (QTIP), Quang Anh Quang Tri Joint Stock Company (AMBER); organize a working session with the Vietnam Logistics Association (VLA) to exchange and discuss a number of contents requesting VLA to support Quang Tri province in developing the logistics industry to become a new regional freight transit center and a connecting point for the Central region with countries on the East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC).
In the field of trade promotion, IPA Quang Tri has advised the Provincial People's Committee to successfully organize the Trans-Asia Trade and Tourism Fair - Quang Tri in 2024. The fair is part of the national program on trade promotion in 2024, an important trade promotion activity of Quang Tri province and the North Central region.
Along with organizing conferences, IPA Quang Tri also focuses on encouraging businesses and cooperatives to promote digital transformation, diversify forms of promotion and product consumption on e-commerce platforms through training programs on applying digital technology in sales for businesses and cooperatives.
In order to effectively implement the programs and goals set out, based on the orientation and direction of the Provincial People's Committee, in the coming time, IPA Quang Tri will continue to promote investment and trade promotion activities, focusing on attracting investment in key areas and key projects. Innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of investment promotion activities associated with improving the business environment, supporting and developing enterprises. Continue to support enterprises and cooperatives to improve their capacity in trade promotion activities; promote, advertise, connect and consume products; focus on training and improving the capacity of officials working in investment and trade promotion to increase investment attraction in the province, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development plan for 2024 and the period 2021-2025; create more jobs, reduce poverty, improve the life of the people.
