On the morning of January 16, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development held a conference in Hanoi to evaluate and rank the 2024 national-level OCOP (One Commune One Product) products.
At the conference, the Central New Rural Coordination Office presented a summary report on the review and evaluation of 52 OCOP products nominated for national-level recognition in 2024.

Members of the evaluation council gave fair and objective assessments of each product and its documentation. They also provided suggestions to improve product quality and development directions. The council emphasized the need to improve packaging quality, increase aesthetic appeal, and expand distribution channels so that OCOP products can better reach consumers.
After discussion, deliberation, and voting, the council recognized 28 products as national-level OCOP products for 2024. Among them, Quang Tri Province had two products awarded the prestigious 5-star OCOP rating: Khe Sanh Coffee by Khe Sanh Agricultural Cooperative; An Xuan Herbal Supplement (Cao cà gai leo) by An Xuan Organic Herbal Medicine Co., Ltd.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Quynh Diem, Director of An Xuan Organic Herbal Medicine Co., Ltd., one of the two 5-star product owners, shared her excitement: "I am honored and delighted that our product has been recognized as a 5-star national OCOP product. This is a great motivation for our company to continue developing, improving product quality, and maintaining high standards and safety in our production processes to protect consumer health."

Currently, Quang Tri Province has a total of 183 OCOP products, including: 40 four-star products (of which 2 have now been upgraded to five stars), 143 three-star products. There are 104 OCOP producers in the province, including: 29 cooperatives, 14 collaboration groups, 26 enterprises, 35 individual business households.
Having two products recognized as 5-star OCOP is not only a source of pride but also serves as an inspiration for local businesses. It provides an opportunity for others to learn, improve, and enhance their competitiveness, aiming to develop more high-quality OCOP products in the future.
