This year’s fair, running from April 28 to May 4, features 200 booths representing 30 provinces and cities from across Vietnam. The event showcases thousands of distinctive, high-quality regional products that reflect the cultural identity of their localities. It presents an excellent opportunity for enterprises and cooperatives to promote their brands and products to domestic and international investors, seek cooperation opportunities, and expand their market reach through joint ventures and trade partnerships.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasized that Thai Nguyen hopes to use this fair to broaden exchanges, showcase socio-economic achievements, and boost trade, investment, and tourism cooperation with other provinces and cities nationwide. It also aims to foster linkages in production and business, attract investment, develop commercial and service sectors, and expand distribution networks for Thai Nguyen products. The event contributes to promoting the national campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods.”

According to leaders from the Thai Nguyen Department of Industry and Trade, in addition to product showcases, the fair also includes trade promotion activities, investment networking, contract signings, and support services to connect organizations and enterprises interested in visiting exemplary agricultural and tourism models within and outside the province.

At this year’s fair, Quang Tri Province participated with four booths featuring key local specialties such as herbal tea extracts, ginger powder, multigrain powder, vegetable-based noodles, dried banana powder, pennywort mung bean powder, macadamia nuts, nut-based cakes, and various agricultural products. Enterprises actively engaged in marketing efforts and direct product introductions to visitors, leaving a strong impression on attendees from Thai Nguyen and beyond.

The Thai Nguyen Industry – OCOP Fair and Exhibition has become an annual event with a well-established reputation. It is recognized for its professional organization and effectiveness in promoting trade, connecting supply and demand, and showcasing outstanding products. The fair also serves as a communication channel to highlight the province's socio-economic and cultural achievements, fostering stronger ties between Thai Nguyen and other localities across the country.
Even on the opening night, the fair attracted a large number of local residents who came to visit and shop./.
