On the afternoon of May 30, 2025, at Muong Thanh Luxury Saigon Hotel, 261C Nguyen Van Troi Street, Ward 10, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City, the People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province, under the direction of the Quang Tri Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Agency (IPA Quang Tri), in coordination with relevant agencies and units, held the Conference on Trade Promotion and Product Distribution Connectivity of Quang Tri Province in Ho Chi Minh City 2025.

The Conference on Trade Promotion and Product Distribution Connectivity of Quang Tri Province in Ho Chi Minh City is one of the key activities within the framework of the “Quang Tri Product Fair in Ho Chi Minh City 2025”, taking place from May 30 to June 1, 2025. This event aims to serve as an effective bridge between Quang Tri-based enterprises and distribution systems in Ho Chi Minh City and other localities, expanding opportunities to introduce provincial products into professional and sustainable retail channels. Through direct B2B meetings and networking sessions, Quang Tri businesses can better understand market demands and consumption trends, enabling them to refine their product development strategies accordingly.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Le Duc Tien, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province, stated: “We are delighted to organize this Conference, which not only aims to promote trade but also serves as an opportunity to connect and foster cooperation between manufacturers in Quang Tri Province and major distribution systems in Ho Chi Minh City. Our objective today is not merely a trade activity, but a strategic step forward to create meaningful business opportunities. This is a chance for Quang Tri’s signature products to gain broader recognition within Ho Chi Minh City’s modern distribution networks, thereby stimulating production, driving economic development, and building sustainable brand value.”

The conference welcomed the participation of over 30 suppliers and 15 distributors, including supermarket chains and import-export units from Ho Chi Minh City.
At the event, numerous showcased products—notably wild bitter leaf extract (cao chè vằng), natural essential oils, turmeric powder, traditional fish sauce, nutritious cereal blends, and vegetable noodles—garnered significant interest from distributors, supermarket representatives, and e-commerce platforms.
This attention has paved the way for the potential inclusion of Quang Tri’s goods into modern retail chains such as Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, and other contemporary distribution systems.

Through direct B2B sessions between suppliers and distribution systems, many distributors expressed strong interest in establishing long-term partnerships to distribute Quang Tri's products in the Southern market.
Dozens of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and product distribution agreements were signed during the event.
Notably, the Quang Tri Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Agency (IPA Quang Tri) signed an MoU with Arobid Technology Joint Stock Company, establishing a cooperative relationship to support the province’s business community in advancing digital transformation, digital economy, green economy, blockchain, and artificial intelligence (AI). This partnership aims to build a green, innovative enterprise community in Quang Tri, contributing to the goals of e-Government and sustainable development.

The success of the conference is expected to enhance the brand recognition and value of Quang Tri’s products in the eyes of consumers, distributors, and potential partners both domestically and internationally. This contributes to expanding market access abroad through the participation of trade promotion organizations and importers, opening up opportunities to directly integrate Quang Tri products into global supply chains.
As part of the program, the conference will also host various networking activities connecting local authorities, distributors, and suppliers, aiming to boost promotion and consumption of Quang Tri products through diverse distribution channels.

According to the Quang Tri Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Agency (IPA Quang Tri), the province will continue to promote demand-supply linkage programs in the near future. It will further support enterprises in trade promotion, brand development, digital transformation, and participation in global value chains.
