In line with the province’s policy to support the development of key crops and livestock products with competitive advantages in Quang Tri, Quang Tri Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Agency (IPA Quang Tri) organized a business delegation to attend the 2025 North Central Region Trade Fair held in Quang Binh Province.
As part of the fair’s program, on the morning of April 26, 2025, at the old Cultural House on Hung Vuong Street, Dong Hoi City, the Quang Binh Department of Industry and Trade held a Supply and Demand Connection Conference focused on showcasing outstanding rural industrial products and OCOP products in association with digital transformation.

The conference welcomed the participation of more than 60 businesses and production establishments from North Central provinces and other regions across Vietnam, including 4 businesses from Quang Tri Province. It provided an opportunity for enterprises and cooperatives to promote agricultural products, standout rural industrial goods, and OCOP products; connect with supermarket chains, distributors, and e-commerce platforms; and expand domestic and export markets.
The conference featured two working sessions. In the first session, managers, business representatives, and producers discussed market demand, buyer-seller exchanges, and consumer preferences.

During this session, Mr. Tran Phi Tuong, Deputy Director of IPA Quang Tri, shared successful supply-demand connection models from Quang Tri Province and practical experiences in supporting businesses to build sustainable consumption makets.

The second session focused on digital transformation, where delegates discussed solutions to expand distribution channels and secure sustainable markets for local products.

At the conference, two enterprises from Quang Tri: Ngoc Bich Natural Herbal Co., Ltd. and Nhien Thao Quang Tri Co., Ltd. signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with distributors such as Bach Xanh Dong Duong and An Nong Co., Ltd., opening up new market expansion opportunities for Quang Tri products.
Right after the conference, participating businesses also joined a TikTok livestream session to promote their products and reach a wider digital audience.
That afternoon, the Quang Binh Department of Industry and Trade hosted the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 North Central Region Trade Fair.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Phan Hoai Nam, Deputy Director of the Quang Binh Department of Industry and Trade, stated that the fair attracted the participation of over 120 units, enterprises, and trade promotion organizations from provinces including Quang Binh, Cao Bang, Hoa Binh, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Kien Giang, and Ben Tre, with more than 200 booths showcasing a wide range of local specialties and products from various industries such as agriculture, forestry, seafood, handicrafts, food processing, consumer goods, garments, fashion, leather goods, electronics, and more.
The Quang Tri business delegation set up 4 booths to showcase the province’s distinctive and OCOP products, including: herbal extracts, natural essential oils, organic rice, Khe Sanh coffee, Vinh Linh black pepper, and more, from enterprises such as Dinh Son Mai Thi Thuy Herbal Extract Co., Tuyet Nhi Essential Oil Co., Ngoc Bich Natural Herbal Co., Ta Lu Khe Sanh Coffee Co., Vinh Linh Pepper Cooperative, and Dang Xa Agricultural Services Cooperative. These enterpries actively carried out marketing efforts and directly engaged with visitors, leaving a strong impression on attendees.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Quang Tri booths received visits from many officials and guests. The design, labeling, product quality, and variety left a positive impression, demonstrating the strong potential for expanding domestic and international markets.

The 2025 North Central Region Trade Fair runs from April 26 to May 2, 2025, serving as a platform to connect trade, investment, cultural, and tourism promotion activities, while also showcasing the strengths, potential, and socio-economic development achievements of North Central provinces and other regions across Vietnam./.
